My kids love to listen to the same music over and over and over again

We're deep into the month of December, Christmas season, and by now you've put your tree up (if that's the sort of thing you do), and you've been to a few festive events.

'Tis the season of family get-togethers and yesterday we went to my husband's family's house.

They live in West Sussex, about an hour's drive, and my children love going there.

In the car, driving down, I feel like I'm the DJ playing the music that they request.

For one full hour they are requesting the same songs over and over again.

Why?

How can children listen to the same song over and over again, day after day after day?

It's the same thing with movies! And TV shows!

It really drills a hole in my head.

Thankfully, we got there in good time, and it was nice to gather among family. 

All the kids got to play with their cousins, who are the same age and are really sweet with one another.

Over dinner last night my father-in-law asked me how my practice was going and I was thrilled (and proud) to tell him that things are wonderful, and I now have an excellent massage therapist working with me.

Of course they were very happy to hear the news, and they were also a little bummed because they wanted to have the convenience of coming to get adjusted and massaged at my place!

Alas, they are too far away.

We stayed out there quite late, which was good because my kids fell asleep on the ride home and I didn't have to play the same damn music again.

This time of year is pretty crazy and all parents are tired and ready for a break. 

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful festive season and get through it feeling healthy and content.

In the next year, things will be very exciting for me because of a new look in my practice (wait and see!), as well as the addition of massage therapy.
