Do something different.

There are many of us who, at one point or another, can't seem to get out of a rut.

Like, maybe you're looking for a new job. Or maybe you're in an unfulfilling relationship. Or you've been wanting to lose a little bit of weight and get into better shape.

Everyone has experienced these situations in life. It's life in this modern world, and we can all pretty much sing the same song. Tell the same story.

And yet, we go through our days wanting something new to happen. When we want change and nothing happens, we just keep on doing what we're doing expecting something to change.

If you want something different,  you have to (wait for it) do something different.

Here's a story for you.

A young man in his twenties had a lot of health issues, including asthma for 15 years. He was completely dependent on his inhaler. His turning point was when he had a close call - he was having an asthma attack from a stressful situation, and he couldn't find his inhaler. It was eye-opening for him when he realised that he wasn't going to get any healthier just by continuing to rely on his inhaler. How would his body and health be like in 20 years if nothing changed?

His mother had heard that chiropractic might help.

He started getting regular chiropractic care. Regular adjustments. And do you know what happened? You know that stressful situation where he had the asthma attack and couldn't find his inhaler? Well, that was the last time he ever needed to use it. That was his last asthma attack. He's now in his 50s. Thriving. There are no inhalers in his house.

What changed? Well, he started working with his body from the inside-out, instead of outside-in. With the regular chiropractic adjustments, his body was able to completely reorganise how it worked, allowing for proper healing that was needed.

If you want or need something different to happen, you have to change what you've been doing and start something completely different.

  • Want to lose weight? Stop drinking so much, cut out processed sugar, eat 2 veggies with every meal. Go for a walk. Watch the weight drop.
  • Need a new job? Stop making excuses, start talking to people, think about what you love to do, and start taking action.
  • Stuck in a bad relationship? Stop trying to blame the other person thinking that they owe you, or that they need to do something to make you happy. Start doing things that you want to do for yourself, your happiness, and your own pleasure. Watch how the relationship will either blossom, or you'll feel better about moving on.

You know what makes all this easier to tackle? Yup, you guessed it - feeling good and healthy through regular chiropractic care. Taking care of yourself.

So do something different. Do something new. And get adjusted.
